About Zipp Express
Zipp Express has been delivering the goods to the St. Louis Metro area since 1989. In the beginning, we were focused on providing courier services to small businesses and individuals using cars and small vans to deliver envelopes and packages. St. Louis businesses and residents were glad to see us coming. Our staff and drivers were not just punctual, they were professional and polite. And that hasn't changed!
Last Mile Delivery in St. Louis[/caption]As the community learned more about Zipp Express and our reputation for excellence, our phones began ringing. And as our reputation spread, clients began asking us for services we didn't offer. We realized there was a gap in needed services and we were pleased to fill that gap by providing a broader scope of St. Louis based delivery service options. Over the next few years, we slowly expanded our services.
By 2000, we'd added to the number of the docks in our warehouse. By 2008, we'd integrated other established trucking and air freight companies. This allowed us to be more proactive in our delivery service options by increasing our straight truck capabilities, and adding tractor trailer and flat-bed services. We also established Zipp Express Cargo Division, providing a full range of air freight and cartage services.
In April of 2017, we expanded our warehouse operations, providing 50,000 more square feet for storage, thus accommodating the increasing volume of final-mile freight. Our warehouse features eight dock doors, ramps, a secured cage for high value cargo, and a monitored security system. We're proud of this aspect of our business. 2024 was a big year for the Zipp Express family. We expanded our territory and services through the acquisition of Rex Regional Shipping LLC. We also welcomed the company founder's daughter, Beth Sprenger, as the new owner. When Beth brought new innovative strategies that served to strengthen and improve the services we provide to our valuable customers.
Throughout the years, as St. Louis has grown and the city's needs have changed, we've adapted and changed too. Our growth has allowed us to focus on professionalism, customer service and on-time solutions for every type of delivery need. Still locally owned and operated.
It's been demonstrated over and over that local clients who know about Zipp Express have a great advantage over those who don't choose our services. We offer so many different delivery options, we're bound to meet any combination of needs businesses and St. Louis residents have.
