When Partners 4 Pets needed delivery services ASAP, we were more than happy to get to work.
Last month, our St. Louis-based delivery professionals were extraordinarily proud to help Partners 4 Pets with their logistical woes. In a brief one-day job, we delivered over 14,000 pounds of kitty litter from a laboratory in Belleville, IL to their animal shelter in Troy, IL.
We make customer satisfaction our highest priority because we believe it is the best way to run a business. It isn’t always about business or customers, though. In a broader sense, our goal is to contribute our expertise in a way that positively effects our community, too.
We’re always on the look out for ways to help when we can, which is why we were so excited to contribute to Partners 4 Pets recently. Partners 4 Pets is a no-kill, non-profit organization that rescues animals from shelters that can no longer house them. After rescuing the at-risk animals, they provide necessary food, shelter and medical treatment until a permanent home is found.
Pro Pack Testing Laboratory recognizes the value Partners 4 Pets creates, which is why they donated 400 pails of kitty litter to the cause. When they were first notified of the gift on August 24, they were met with both excitement and anxiety. 400 pails of kitty litter equates to about 14,000 pounds, enough to last them an entire year!
Although it was exciting news, there was also some skepticism. Their biggest concern suddenly became “how will we transport 14,000 pounds to our shelter.” Organizations like Pets 4 Partners do a great service for the community, but financial struggles sometimes restrict them.
When we were contacted about the job, it was a no-brainer on our end. Transporting that large of an order on a days notice is something we do best. In our eyes, it was the perfect opportunity to contribute our expertise to a mission we believe in.
