St. Louis, MO – Zipp Express has tripled its space to 40,000 square feet at its current location. The expansion was essential to meet Zipp’s growing customer base and customer service requirements. The warehouse is centrally located, just one mile west of I-270 off Interstate 70. The location provides immediate accessibility to all main highways and St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL).
Zipp Express provides delivery service within a 125-mile air radius of STL along with regional and national expedited service utilizing a full range of vehicles. Every Zipp Express driver, warehouse person and key employee is TSA certified to ensure the safe and secure handling of all cargo and air freight. Hazardous materials certified drivers are available.
The climate controlled warehouse space has 25’ ceilings with 40’ column span to easily accommodate the larger items that Zipp Express handles for its customers, including specialized medical equipment and convention displays. Eight dock doors with levelers and a drive-in ramp allow for rapid loading, unloading and cross-dock work. The warehouse is staffed from 06:00 to 20:30 Monday – Friday with 24-hour access upon request. Within the overall space is a 2,000-square foot caged area with card-swipe access for high value items, pharmaceutical products and high-demand cargo.
A state of the art system provides security for all contents and employees. Motion activated cameras and sensors are monitored by live internet feed. “Our customers constantly emphasize the need for secured-access space and documentation for all activity.
