Zipp Express’s warehouse offers 8 dock doors that make dropping off and collecting shipments from our warehouse easy. Our shipping partners like our lot because it’s easy to get in and out of. And because we’re located just one-mile west of I-270 off I-70, they can get back on the road without losing any time. We’re also set up to enable easy cross docking for shipping partners who need to off-load to one of our local trucks for final mile delivery.

Speaking of Final Mile Delivery

Central to our business as a full-service delivery company is our final mile delivery service. Because we are a locally owned company that chooses to hire local drivers as often as possible, our trucks are all over the city and outer areas. We KNOW the ins and outs of St Louis traffic, know which routes are under construction, and which ones are likely to be impossible to negotiate during certain times of the day. They know all the short cuts and all the quickest routes. So our drivers can easily collect shipments from the docks or the warehouse and have them at their destination in less time than a larger commercial company.

And because we also rely on the newest technology to help customers track their packages, neither the business owner nor their client has to wonder where their shipment is. They can easily locate it on their phone or computer.

Long and Short-term storage

Zipp Express has a 40,000 square foot warehouse—not quite as large as a football field, but close—with 25-foot-high ceilings (think two story-house and then add five feet). Our columns are 40 feet apart—meaning there is plenty of room for large equipment.



In brief, our warehouse is HUGE and the only thing we can’t—or won’t—store is explosives and illegal contraband (we think that goes without saying, but you’d be surprised what we get asked). All of this means that we have enough room to easily provide both long and short-term storage.

Commercial storage

Business owners can store their stock room over-flow in our warehouse. Zipp Express’s expert warehouse personnel will catalog our state-of-the-art computers and tag it for easy retrieval. This means owners and managers can take advantage of sales and store it with us either until they’re ready for it or until they find a motivated buyer. We also store seasonal displays and extra shelves for the busy times of the year like Christmas and 4th of July so businesses don’t have to waste valuable space in their own stock rooms. And when they do need their displays, our combined warehouse and delivery services make the entire process of calling to set up a delivery time quick and painless.

On top of this, they never have to wonder about the security of their items while in our possession because our facilities are protected by round the clock security cameras and guards. And all our employees are carefully screened with intensive background checks.

High Security Storage

For those particularly sensitive items, like medications, jewelry, works of art, and other things that need special handling and security, we offer 2,000-square feet of caged space with swipe card technology and dedicated security cameras. Only authorized personnel can access this space and they only do so when asked.

Easy Retrieval and Delivery

It is easy for a business to arrange storage with us and even easier to arrange for us to retrieve it from our warehouse and deliver their shipment. We deliver to the entire St. Louis Metro area and within a 150-square mile area of the city limits. When you need our warehouse and delivery services, all you have to do is call us.

We have a fleet of transportation vehicles that include straight trucks, box trucks, tractor trailers, Sprinters. And with a full complement of drivers and crews, we can easily deliver the shipment on short notice. We offer same day delivery and LTL delivery for those times you don’t need an entire truckload.

And when a shipment needs special treatment, we offer White Glove Delivery which includes delivery to the room of the business or hospital’s choice. Our crews can set up equipment or furniture based on their specifications. Upon request, we can provide our staff with special training to ensure that your shipment is set up as required.

Airport recovery and NFO made easy

Our TSA compliant drivers can easily pick up your shipment from the airport. They are in and out of there on a regular basis. And because they have the clearance already in place, they don’t have to sit in line and wait. This means your time-sensitive or fragile shipment won’t sit in the terminal any longer than absolutely necessary.
We often collect shipments from the airport for businesses who need us to hold their freight until they are ready for it. This is a time saver for businesses and one of the best reasons to combine our warehouse and delivery services.
